385nm 180mW Diode Laser System
This is a 385nm 180mW semiconductor laser. There are three working modes of CW/TTL/Analog on the back of the power supply to choose from. Rotate the ‘Adjustor’ knob on the power supply to adjust the current and thus the laser output power. This is the free space output mode, customizable for fiber coupling.
The basic structure of a laser includes a pump source, an active medium, and a resonant cavity. The 385nm 180mW laser also follows this basic principle. It provides energy through a pump source, and the particles in the active medium are excited to transition from a low energy level to a high energy level. When these high-energy particles transition to a low energy level under the action of the radiation field, photons are released to form lasers. The resonant cavity plays the role of selecting and amplifying photons of specific wavelengths and directions, making the laser highly directional and monochromatic.
We observe the 385nm spot on the black background plate.
385nm semiconductor lasers have the advantages of stable wavelength, adjustable output power, and high beam quality. They have broad application prospects in the fields of ultraviolet curing, scientific research experiments, and industrial applications.
